A man in his 30s has suffered serious injuries following a disturbance involving a group of individuals in Limerick City early this morning. 

Gardaí and emergency services were called to Hyde Road shortly after 3.10am. 

The man was treated at the scene for serious injuries before being taken by ambulance to University Hospital Limerick where he is now in stable condition. 

No arrests have been made, and investigations are ongoing. 

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward, particularly anyone with video or dashcam footage from the area around the time of the incident.
