A man has been seriously injured in an assault on Dublin's Wexford Street.

The incident took place in the early hours of this morning, December 21st.

A man in his early 20s is currently receiving treatment at Beaumont Hospital.

No arrests have been made at this time.

Anyone with information or who may have witnessed the assault has been urged to contact Gardaí.

Investigations are ongoing.
