A man has been seriously injured in a Dublin crash.

It happened just before 5pm this evening on the N11 road in Cabinteely.

The crash was between a car and an e-bike at the junction with Johnstown Road.

The cyclist, a man aged in his 20s, was seriously injured.

He has been transferred to Beaumont Hospital, Dublin, where his condition is understood to be serious.

The road remains closed for technical examination.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward including any road users with camera footage.
