A man has died after being shot in Clondalkin.
He was found just after midnight and rushed to hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The victim, who’s in his early 20s, was shot sometime last night and was found by Gardai responding to shots at Harelawn Green in Clondalkin at 12.20
He was rushed to Tallaght Hospital but was later pronounced dead.
A car, which was later found on fire at nearby Collinstown Crescent, is believed to be have been used in the shooting.
The area has since been sealed off for a full technical examination and tests are also being carried out on the car.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone who was in the Harelawn Green, or Collinstown Crescent areas last night or early this morning to contact them at Ronanstown Garda Station on 01 666 7700.
