A post-mortem is due to get underway this afternoon after a man was stabbed to death in Tallaght in Dublin yesterday. It happened at a house in Kiltalown Way and a man was arrested at the scene.
Gardai say the victim - a man in his 30s - had been drinking heavily at the house. It is believed he was stabbed after a row broke out with another man and managed to stagger out of the house to raise the alarm.
Gardai arrived at around 6.40pm yesterday evening and the victim was rushed to Tallaght Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

A man in his 30s was arrested at the scene and is being held at Tallaght Garda Station for questioning.
Meanwhile a knife believed to have been used in this killing has been recovered and a technical examination is also underway at the scene.
Local Fianna Fáil Councillor Charlie O'Connor says it is sad that what should have been a day of celebration for the west Dublin estate ended in tragedy.
