A man is set to appear before Balbriggan District Court this morning charged with a number of animal cruelty offences.

He was charged by Gardaí who were investigating criminal activity at state lands in Killsallaghan, county Dublin on the evening of June 26th, 2024.

The man, aged in his 30s, was arrested at the time of the incident.

Now, the Director of Public Prosecutions has directed that he is charged in relation to the investigation.
