A man in his 20s is due to appear in Blanchardstown District Court this morning charged in connection with the discovery of a firearm following searches in relation to the murder of Dean Johnson.
Gardai recovered a sawn off shotgun, ammunition and a quantity of drugs after searching a number of premises in Clondalkin and Cabra in Dublin and Kilkock Co Kildare last week.
21-year-old Dean Johnson was shot dead in Clondalkin in the early hours of Saturday the 24th of August.

A second man arrested following last weeks searches remains in custody.
