Gardai are expected to question a man in his mid-30's in connection with the discovery of a woman's body at an apartment in Navan Co Meath.

The body of the woman in her early 30s was discovered in Bective House Apartments in Beaufort Place at around 7 o'clock last night. 

A man in his mid 30s was arrested. He's currently receiving medical attention in hospital. 

A post mortem examination is due to take place later today on the woman's body.
