The High Court has again refused to grant bail to a Dublin man wanted on child pornography charges in America.
Eric Eoin-Marques has been described by an FBI agent as 'the largest facilitator of child porn on the planet'. He is now facing months in prison as a formal extradition request is processed.
Marques has now been denied bail twice by the High Court. US authorities have lodged a formal request to extradite the 28-year-old who has dual Irish-American citizenship.

He is wanted there to face trial on charges of distributing an advertising child pornography and if convicted could face lengthy consecutive sentences of 100 years imprisonment.
Today Mr. Justice John Edwards refused Marques bail, saying the potentially long jail sentence if convicted provided a 'greater incentive to flee '.
He added that having taken into account all of the evidence, it was not possible to grant bail under any conditions 'even on a regime of strict conditions'.
The case has now been adjourned for mention in the High Court on October 22nd.
