Police in Paris are analysing CCTV footage - in an attempt to identify the man who tried to kill a French soldier in the French capital last night.

23 year old Private First Class Cedric Cordier remains in hospital this evening after he was stabbed in the neck.

The attacker remains at large after he fled the scene.

Anti-terror investigators still aren't saying if this stabbing is possibly linked to the murder of a British soldier in London last Wednesday.
