A man’s body was found by Gardaí this afternoon in a vacant property in Dundrain, Burnfoot, County Donegal. 

The man’s identity is not yet known and his body has been taken to University Hospital Letterkenny for a post-mortem examination.

Gardaí said the results of the post-mortem examination would determine the course of their investigation. 

The scene has been preserved for a technical and forensic examination.
