A man’s body has been found in a house in Dublin 8.
It was discovered in the afternoon today after Gardaí were called to a residence near Herbeton Park.
The man, aged in his 60s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Gardaí say they “are investigating all of the circumstances surrounding the discovery”.
The scene is currently being preserved to allow for an exam by local crime officers.
The State Pathologist and local coroner have both been notified.
Gardaí say the results of a post-mortem exam will “guide the direction” of their investigation.
