A man’s body has been found at Steamboat Quay Car Park in Limerick. 

Gardaí were called out at 5am and the scene has been preserved for an inspection by the Garda Technical Bureau. 

The body of the man, who was in his 40s, has not yet been moved. 

A post-mortem will be carried out in due course and Gardaí have asked any witnesses to contact Henry Street Garda Station.
