The remains of a man have been discovered in the river Liffey this morning.
Gardaí said the body was discovered on the west side of the East Link Bridge in Dublin’s Docklands around 8am.
The body has since been transferred to the Dublin City Morgue.

A post-mortem will be carried out at a later date to determine the course of the investigation.
The East Link Bridge, also known as the Tom Clarke Bridge, is the last bridge on the Liffey before reaching Dublin Port.
