The Fianna Fail leader says he expects that over 130 thousand people could lose their medical cards, after last week's budget.
Micheal Martin, who is due to address the Wolfe Tone Commemoration in Bodenstown, Co. Kildare this afternoon, expects a very bleak year in the health sector, as a result of the cutbacks.
The Government announced it has to save 666 million euro in the Department of Health, with 113 million in savings on medical cards.
