A number of people have reportedly walked out of a mass sermon in Donegal after comments made by the priest on gay marriage.
The Irish Independent says Fr John Britto spoke in favour of a No vote during the weekend sermon in Annagry, while also criticising Donegal footballer Eamon McGee - who has backed the Yes camp in the referendum.
He told the congregation on Saturday night that the footballer was wrong to back the Yes campaign.
A number of people attending the mass objected to the comments and left.
One person claimed more than a dozen people walked out.
Another told the Irish Independent: "He (the priest) is entitled to his view, but it didn't go down well."
