The Mayor of Toronto - who has already admitted to smoking crack and buying illegal drugs - is facing new accusations. He has also been criticised for making crude references to oral sex while talking to journalists.
Rob Ford has denied police reports - all unproven - that he's driven while drunk, snorted cocaine, and partied with an alleged prostitute. Ford has said he will seek legal action against the people he believes are responsible for the latest batch of allegations.
Ford is refusing to stand down or take a leave of absence. Both politicians and residents are calling for his resignation, with hundreds of Toronto locals protesting outside his office.
On Monday, the Toronto City Council will be looking to pass a bill stripping the mayor of his current powers. It has already been signed by a majority of council members.
The political efforts come on the back of angry comments Ford made at a council meeting yesterday, with the mayor again insisting he won't step down. Ford addressed Toronto councillors and reporters while wearing a football jersey, and also made crude references to oral sex in front of the gathered media. The Toronto Argonauts said it was 'disappointing' Ford wore their jersey while making the remarks.
Ford has since apologised for the comments. He has assured reporters he is receiving medical support, although has declined to reveal the specifics of the assistance.
Ford's admission that he smoked crack cocaine came after journalists claimed they had seen a video of Ford smoking the drug. The police recovered the video, and announced the content was 'consistent' with media reports.
