MCD has apologised for 'prematurely’ announcing a Noel Gallagher gig in Dublin this summer.
In a statement, the company said the mistake was “due to over-enthusiasm on our behalf”.
It has apologised to Gallagher and his fans and confirmed that tickets will not now go on sale this week.
“The recent announcement of Noel Gallagher’s 2023 outdoor concert at RHK Dublin was premature,” it said.
“The early announcement was due to over-enthusiasm on our behalf
“MCD apologises to Noel Gallagher and all his fans, and we hope to be in a position to update you in due course.
“No tickets will go on sale this week.”
MCD announced that concert on Monday, saying the former Oasis singer and guitarist would play with his band Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds on Sunday August 2023
Primal Scream and the Happy Mondays were due to support.
