Conor McGregor's attempt to overturn the verdict in the civil rape case taken against him by Nikita Hand will come before the Court of Appeal today.
Last November, a jury found that the mixed martial arts fighter assaulted Ms Hand in a Dublin hotel over six years ago.
Conor McGregor was deemed liable for sexually assaulting Nikita Hand in the Beacon Hotel in Dublin on December 9th, 2018.
The jury in the case awarded Ms Hand over €248,000 in damages.
Following that decision, McGregor indicated that he intended to appeal the ruling and that is now listed to be heard before the three-judge Court of Appeal later today.
On Newstalk Breakfast, Irish Times journalist Mary Carolan explained what people can expect from today's hearing.
