The North’s Deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness has accused some members of the PSNI of being against the peace process.

Addressing several hundred people, who attended the unveiling of a Gerry Adams mural in Belfast earlier, Mr McGuinness insisted that a “dark side” of the old RUC still exists within the police force and they’re using what he called “the same old dirty tricks”.

The Sinn Féin President is still being questioned at Antrim Police Station this evening about the IRA murder of Jean McConville in 1972.

Mr. McGuinness, who’s a former IRA commander, says the PSNI had the Boston tapes a year ago and yet it’s only now they’re questioning Mr Adams.
