An outbreak of measles in the UK has been upgraded to an epidemic as 100 cases per day are diagnosed.

1,700 MMR jabs have been given out today but 6,000 children in Swansea in Wales alone have still not been vaccinated.

Queues of worried parents and their children have formed at drop-in clinics across South Wales again today.

The Director of Public Health in the Abertawe ABMU area is Doctor Sara Hayes and she said that there is no doubt that she is dealing with an epidemic.
