At a wedding that has more bite than it does a bride, a strange ceremony is taking place in Mexico.
In the south-western fishing town of San Pedro Huamelula, there is an old tradition that has been passed down for generations in which a man will marry a crocodile in a symbolic ceremony.

The fishermen believe the crocodile is a princess and that by marrying her it will bring the town good luck and plenty of fish in the sea for them to catch.
The groom of the blushing bride is none other than the town's mayor who claims the ceremony was a huge success.
