Prolific sperm donor Kyle Gordy will soon have fathered 101 children in countries around the world.
The typical sperm donation procedure is for the female parent to undergo insemination or IVF a doctor – but that’s not how Mr Gordy works.
The self-titled ‘super-hobbyist’ runs bepregnantnow.com where women or couples contact him and arranges to meet them, where possible, and gives them his sperm.
On Lunchtime Live, Mr Gordy said he has 87 children born that he knows of as of today and another 14 on the way.
“In about seven or eight months, I should have about 101 children,” he said.
“The majority of my kids that are born are through a cup and syringe, but you know, about maybe 20% are through intercourse.”
Mr Gordy said he decided to start sperm donation because he didn’t know if he was going to have kids of his own when he was younger.
“I was dating and it just wasn't working out for me, so I knew a friend and she and her wife wanted to have a child and we talked about it, I decided to help, and we did it,” he said.
“What happened was they came over when they got a positive ovulation test and they went in the back seat of a car.
“I went to my in my room, or wherever, brought out the sperm and then they [used] the sperm in the back of the car and two weeks later, we found out they were pregnant.
“That child is 10 and then they have another child, who I believe is seven or eight now, by me - so we have two children.”

Mr Gordy said it “feels good” knowing that he has “helped a lot of people start families”.
“Originally, I think a lot of people, well, at least the same sex couples, were going to go to a sperm bank but a lot of times they don't feel comfortable going to the sperm bank because they don't really get to see the guy, [it’s] just the number… and you really don't know what you're getting,” he said.
“Also, a lot of times at the sperm bank - and this is what I hear from women - those guys are actually not very attractive, because sperm banks hire guys based on maybe how well their sperm [moves], so being attractive isn't part of the quality.

“So a lot of people come and say they like the fact that they actually see me, they get to talk to me, they get to see my personality, they actually know me in person [and] they actually see what I'm like.”
Mr Gordy’s involvement with the children varies from completely not involved to “friendships with the moms”.
He doesn’t make any money from the sperm donation, saying it’s more like a “super hobby”.
