/> Heads of State and international non-governmental organisations have been invited to Downing Street to discuss global hunger today.
The meeting, which will be chaired by David Cameron, is aiming to highlight the plight of the 171 million starving children on the day of the closing ceremony of the London Olympics.
The event is looking to strengthen global efforts to reduce hunger and malnutrition and it’s hoped by holding the event on the final day of the Olympics will bring much needed attention to the issue.
