Britain's Meghan Markle has picked Irish activist Sinéad Burke as a 'Force for Change' as she guest edits an issue of Vogue in the UK.
The publication says its September 2019 issue highlights a cast of female change-makers "who are set to re-shape society in radical and positive ways".
It is the first time a September issue of British Vogue has been co-edited.
It features 15 women from the worlds of politics, sport, and the arts - all of whom have made an impact on modern life.
The publication says the selection was "a highly personal process" for Markle and editor-in-chief Edward Enninful.
The cover line-up also includes New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, teenage climate activist Greta Thunberg, actor Jane Fonda and LGBT advocate and actor Laverne Cox.
Ms Cox is the first trans person to feature on the cover of British Vogue.
A 16th spot on the cover will appear in print as a silver reflective mirror, to encourage the reader to use their own platform to bring change.
On her inclusion, Ms Burke says: "I'm so very proud, incredibly honoured and humbled to be one of the fifteen Forces for Change featured on the cover of British Vogue's September issue, chosen by a very special guest editor, the Duchess of Sussex."

Ms Burke consults within the fashion, architecture and design industries to ensure that spaces and products are accessible to all.
She is also responsible for the introduction of the term for little person, 'duine beag', into the Irish language.
She was appointed to the Council of State by President Michael D Higgins in April.
On the project, Ms Markle says: "These last seven months have been a rewarding process, curating and collaborating with Edward Enninful, British Vogue's editor-in-chief, to take the year's most-read fashion issue and steer its focus to the values, causes and people making impact in the world today.
"Through this lens I hope you'll feel the strength of the collective in the diverse selection of women chosen for the cover as well as the team of support I called upon within the issue to help bring this to light.
"I hope readers feel as inspired as I do, by the 'Forces for Change' they'll find within these pages."
The September edition goes on sale this coming Friday.
