Met Eireann has issued a weather warning for Munster, Leinster and parts of Ulster.

Scattered snow showers will hit these areas this evening, overnight and on Monday and will result in between three and eight centimetres of snow. 

Motorists are being advised to drive with extreme care as severe frost and icy conditions will effect all parts.
