The forecaster said things will be icy through the morning with rain, sleet and snow in the east to start quickly clearing into the Irish Sea.
That will leave a cold and generally dry day with sunny spells.
It will be cloudier in the southwest with isolated showers. Some showers of rain and sleet are also possible on northern coasts.
Daytime temperatures of 4C to 7C degrees in a light variable breeze.
Icy conditions this morning as temperatures continue to fall. 🌡️📉

Cook Street #Sneachta
(2019)This wall marked the northern edge of medieval Dublin and contains the only surviving Dublin gate, known as St Audoen's Arch. To prevent fire and or for hygiene reasons, most cooking was done outside the city wall hence the name, Cook Street!

These two are probably my favourite DSLR shots, from what I've seen so far anyway.
Love the flakes falling in the first and the nice build up of snow on the second. Taken at Cruagh Wood earlier.#dublin #ireland #sneachta pic.twitter.com/nGqRysDG2u
