Over the course of the pandemic, the traditional schooling we were all accustomed to experienced a fast-tracked digital transformation, quickly blending the old world with the new to create a hybrid classroom online and offline.

As things slowly return to normal, this transformation continues, bringing a fresh approach to how we learn and educate our children.

That is why Microsoft is calling on school leaders and teachers of all levels to learn more about how its education technologies can help to support and enhance the teaching and learning experiences post pandemic.

A whole new world of education

Microsoft's suite of technologies aimed at the education sector gives teachers and students access to advanced powerful tools, empowering them to teach, learn, collaborate and be creative.

Teams, for example, can be used to create online classrooms, while assignments and homework are completed in Word and Powerpoint. For more creative and game-based learning, there is the infamous Minecraft. And for budding artists and writers or teachers, you can even create e-portfolios and keep notes from classes in OneNote, making them accessible at all times across multiple devices.

There are also various training courses, learning paths, webinars and other resources available through the Microsoft Education hub for teachers and school leaders to upskill and learn more about how a hybrid approach could work for their school as we head towards 2022.

With the technological evolutions gaining pace in every sector post-pandemic, it's fair to pinpoint the past year as the beginning of a new world when it comes to education.

As with all seismic shifts, there is a period of adjustment and that's why Microsoft Ireland has partnered with Lenovo and Exertis, to show how they are committed to supporting schools in communities right across Ireland to continue transforming.
