Gardai are investigating after a minibus with children on board crashed into a car in Co Tipperary yesterday evening, Tipp FM report.

It happened at around 5.30 at Whitelands, New Inn.

Emergency services including two units of the fire brigade attended the scene.

Several people including children were taken to South Tipperary General Hospital but its understood there were no life threatening injuries.
