The results of two newspaper polls released this weekend show differing results for Fine Gael.
The Sunday Independent shows support for the party up 2 points.
However, a Behaviour and Attitudes survey for the Sunday Times shows support for the main Government party is down 9 points. The findings put them on 21 points - just one clear of both Fianna Fáil and Sinn Féin on 20. Labour stands at 9%,
Minister Brian Hayes says he's not concerned by the results. He says "the important issue is getting people out to vote and making sure the strong representation of both parties continues in the local authorities after the 23rd of May":
