A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder as part of a Garda investigation into the death of Mirjana Pap.
The man is in his 30s and is currently detained at a Garda station in the Meath/Westmeath Division.
On December 30th, Gardaí found the body of Ms Pap, 58, at Curraghaleen, near Athlone.

Her body was taken to Galway University Hospital for a post-mortem and Gardaí searched a residential property and seized two cars as part of their investigation.
A GoFundMe page to help with the costs of Ms Pap’s funeral has already raised over €22,000.
The organiser behind the page described her as a “beloved member of our community” who should be “laid to rest with the dignity and love she deserves.”
