A 13-year-old girl who had been missing for over a month has been found safe and well.

Chantelle Doyle had last been seen in Maynooth, County Kildare on Monday October 7th.

Gardaí had issued an appeal for help in tracing Chantelle, saying they were very concerned for her welfare.

However, they've now confirmed she has been located safe and well.

Gardaí thanked the public for their assistance.
