Gardaí are concerned for the welfare of an 18-month-old girl who is missing in Dublin.

Shania Constantin is in the care of her 36-year-old grandfather, Condrut Iosca, who lives in Blanchardstown.

The pair were last seen when Mr Iosca drove away from North Circular Road in Phibsborough on Thursday afternoon.

He was driving a red van at the time.

Investigators are also interested in hearing from anyone who has seen a Silver 7 series BMW with the registration 07 D 38516.

Gardaí said Shania has dark brown eyes and “very little hair.”

Mr Iosca is described as being 5'9" in height and of medium build with black hair and brown eye.

Investigators said they are concerned for Shania and have urged anyone who can help find her to come forward.
