There is a status yellow warning for rainfall warning in Munster, Connacht, Carlow, Kilkenny, Laois, Longford, Wexford, Offaly and Westmeath.
Heavy rainfall is expected with some heavy bursts occuring in short intervals of time.
There is also a potential for flooding.
