However, rain and drizzle in the west and north will spread to most areas this morning.

Drier and brighter weather with sunny spells will develop later in the afternoon but it will stay quite dull and damp in the north.

Mainly dry for much of the country tonight. Later in the night some rain will develop again on west coasts.
