Frost in parts of the east and south at first, clearing this morning and giving way to a dry day in most areas.
Some bright or sunny spells expected, mainly in the east and south.
Cloudy in Atlantic coastal counties, with patchy rain, drizzle and mist along west and northwest coasts.
Maximum temperatures 10C to 13C, in mostly light to moderate southerly winds. Fresh to strong winds on west Munster, Connacht and Ulster coasts.
TONIGHT
Tonight will remain dry in most parts, but rain and drizzle along west and northwest coasts will turn heavier and more persistent, extending further inland across west Connacht and much of Donegal.
Some patchy rain and drizzle will develop on the west Munster coast also.
Minimum temperatures 4C to 7C in mostly moderate southerly winds, fresh to strong on Atlantic coasts.
