This morning will be mostly cloudy with patchy rain and drizzle in east Munster and Leinster.

Rain will develop along the west coast also and will spread eastwards to all areas through the day - becoming heavy at times and reaching the east coast early this evening.

Highest temperatures of between 8 to 12 degrees with light, south to southeast breezes. 

Tonight

Tonight will start off wet with rain over much of the country. The rain will gradually clear eastwards by dawn. Lowest temperatures of 4 to 8 degrees.
