Sunshine to start with showers through the day, most frequent in the north and west of the country and heaviest in the afternoon and early evening.
It'll be a drier day across the south of the country.
Highest temperatures will range between 19 and 22 degrees in moderate southerly winds.
TONIGHT
Connacht and Ulster will see further showers, merging at times to longer spells of rain and coming with a risk of isolated thunderstorms this evening and early tonight.
Showers will spread to Munster and finally in to Leinster in the early hours of the morning.
Lowest temperatures of 12 or 13 degrees in light to moderate southerly winds.
