An Irish band has had money and equipment stolen from their van in Italy.
Dublin band The Eskies have been performing in the UK and Europe over the last few weeks, but say the "money from all of the tickets, fees and merch" from the UK gigs has now been taken.
In a Facebook post, the band says "having stayed in Milan last night we woke up this morning and loaded the van, went back inside to leave off the room keys and in the space of the ten minutes we were inside had our van broken into right outside the front door".
As well as the money, equipment was also taken, including a Macbook, tour planner and GoPro camera.
The incident was captured on CCTV.
The band adds that while their spirits have taken "a bit of a hammering... we've a day off in Padova today and then tomorrow we start a run of five straight gigs so it's on and up".
The band is calling on anybody who has "information, ideas or even just wants to say something nice" to get in touch with them on Facebook.
The Eskies - who describe their music as 'sea soaked gypsy folk' - have performed on The Pat Kenny Show, The Green Room and the Tom Dunne Show.
