The next group of Hamas-held hostages and Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails are expected to be freed today as a temporary truce holds on its second day.
Officials in Egypt said it has received a list of 14 names due to be released from Gaza, while Israel said preparations are being made for 42 detainees to walk free.
The International Red Cross the safe release of 24 hostages from Gaza yesterday, including 13 Israeli citizens, 10 Thai nationals and a citizen from the Philippines.
Some of the captives, mostly women and children, were taken to the Schneider Children’s Medical Center yesterday, where Gilat Livni said they are in good condition.
“We were very excited from the first moment we saw the kids and their parents, the hugs and the crying,” she said.
“They're going to stay for the next few days, they asked to stay because we have very good atmosphere here, calm atmosphere.”

Some 39 Palestinians in Israeli prisons were also released yesterday, including Hanan Barghouti, who said their defiance will continue.
“We are the owners of this land, [Israel] are the terrorists, they are the ones who took our land,” she said.
“They're persecuting us and that's how they create resistance inside us.”
Israeli Government spokesperson Eylon Levy said he hopes all the hostages will make it home safely.
“Even if there are 50 hostages [freed], that leaves another 190 in the Gaza Strip and we’re going to bring them all back,” he said.
“There will be no one left behind.”
Release of hostages
Some 50 women and children being held by Hamas are due to be freed over the four-day period.
In exchange, 150 Palestinian prisoners are to be handed over by Israel.
Humanitarian relief and medical aid will be allowed to enter Gaza to treat casualties as part of the ceasefire terms.
Israel said it would stop its offensive on the Gaza Strip for an extra day for every 10 additional hostages released.
Israel has published an extended list of 300 Palestinian prisoners who could be released in total if the truce deal is extended by Hamas.
