There are currently eight counties where at least 10% of people are still not vaccinated against COVID.
New HSE figures released to Newstalk show that Waterford, Wexford and Carlow have the highest uptake rates – while Donegal and Monaghan have the lowest.
Some 96.6% of people over the age of 12 in Waterford are fully vaccinated, while 98% have received at least one dose.
In Carlow, 96.4% of eligible people are fully vaccinated, while in Wexford that figure is 95% and in Wicklow it is 94%.
Monaghan has the lowest uptake rate in the country – with just under two in five people yet to receive two doses.
Just 81.3% of people in Donegal have received two doses, while in Laois that figure is 84.7%.
In Dublin, where nearly one-third of the country’s population lives, just 86.5% of people are fully vaccinated.
Some 88.2% of people in the capital have received at least one dose.
The eight counties with fully vaccinated rates below 90% are Monaghan, Donegal, Laois, Offaly, Longford, Dublin, Cavan and Kilkenny.
The HSE is continuing to use pop-up clinics and targeted local campaigns to try and get more people to come forward.
It's also trying to reach people whose first language isn't English to provide information about the vaccination rollout.
