More than 30 people have been arrested by detectives investigating child sexual exploitation in the North.
The PSNI says it is looking into 22 cases where "vulnerable" teenagers aged between 13 and 18 have disappeared from care homes.
The issue is to be discussed at the Stormont Assembly today. The North's Health Minister Edwin Poots and Justice Minister David Ford are due to attend a committee meeting.
Most of the children were abused when they went missing from care homes.
Officers from Rochdale in England - where a similar investigation took place recently - have been brought in to help.
The police say they are looking into links between the cases as many of the suspects know each other.
Detective Superintendent Sean Wright says the suspects are aged between 14 and 62.
