Incoming British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is putting together his cabinet after a landslide victory in the Conservative Party leadership contest.
Mr Johnson secured more than two-thirds of the votes, comfortably defeating the country's foreign secretary Jeremy Hunt.
He used his victory speech to promise he will "energise the country" and meet the Brexit deadline at the end of October.

Almost 950 people were treated in Ireland's sexual assault treatment units last year - an increase of 10% on the year before.
In 2017, there were 865 presentations at the six facilities - but this rose to 941 last year.
There was an increase of 17% in Mullingar Hospital, where 203 victims were treated.

Some 6,000 psychiatric nurses will begin industrial action this evening.
The Psychiatric Nurses' Association (PNA) says its member will work only their contracted hours because of health management's failure to address a recruitment and retention crisis.
The PNA says the overtime ban will continue until the issue is resolved.

The number of mortgages drawn down has increased by nearly 9% over the past year.
The Banking and Payments Federation of Ireland says there were 10,200 new mortgages drawn down in the second quarter of 2019.
The total value of them was €2.25bn, while almost 50% were from first-time buyers.

The US Justice Department says it is opening an anti-trust investigation into big tech companies over whether their online platforms have hurt competition.
None were named, but it is understood Apple, Amazon, Google and Facebook are likely to be examined
All four were the subject of congressional hearings last week.
