137 people have now died in the Republic after contracting COVID-19, with 17 further deaths confirmed yesterday.
There are now 4,604 people diagnosed with the disease, after 331 new positive tests.
The figure includes over a thousand cases among healthcare workers.

Representatives from the nursing home industry have welcomed measures to tackle the spread of COVID-19 in the facilities - but say the Government were "late coming to the table".
Staff will now be checked for symptoms multiple times a day, while €72 million has been set aside for the care homes to implement the plans.
Tadhg Daly, Chief Executive of Nursing Homes Ireland, said his organisation feels there was a "lack of prioritisation" for the sector.

A man in his 20s has died following a scrambler bike crash in County Cork.
The bike was being driven on a public trail in a wood in Blarney when it hit a tree at around 8pm last night.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene and the area was sealed off for a technical examination.

122 Irish troops arrived back from serving in Syria and the Golan Heights last night.
They had spent six months in Syria on peace-keeping missions.
The Defence Forces say all 122 will spend the next two weeks in isolation due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
