An investigation is underway after the bodies of three children were discovered in Dublin yesterday evening.

Gardaí were called to the scene at Parson's Court in Newcastle at around 7.00pm.

The children are thought to be all aged under 10-years-old.

A woman in her 40s has been taken to Tallaght Hospital for treatment.

A teenager has been charged with the murder of Cork student Cameron Blair.

The 17-year old - who cannot be named for legal reasons - appeared before a special sitting of Cork District Court last night.

He is charged with the murder of the 20-year-old at Bandon Road in Cork City earlier this month.

Three people in France have contracted the coronavirus, meaning it has reached Europe for the first time.

At least 41 people are now known to have died from the virus in China, where there are more than 1,200 cases.

Yesterday several people being tested for the virus in the UK came back as negative.

Locals in Drogheda will take part in a march against gangland violence later.

People will gather at 1.30pm on the Bridge of Peace, where an innocent taxi driver was shot two weeks ago.

The march has been organised in the wake of the murder of 17-year-old Keane Mulready Woods.

Fans of the sci-fi show have been commenting online about how the image has the same arrowhead design.

'Star Trek' actor George Takei - who played Sulu on the original series - says he is "expecting some royalties".
