Gardaí have CANCELLED an alert over a three-year-old girl and her mother.

Saoirse Carr and 45-year-old Rachel McDonald Carr were found safe and well after they were reported missing - having last been seen at 12.30 this afternoon.

Gardaí wish to express their thanks to all members of the public and media for their assistance in this matter.
