A motorcyclist in his 60s has died in a road crash in County Waterford.
The crash between the motorbike and a car happened on the R634 at Ballydasoon on the Cork-Waterford border shortly before 2pm yesterday.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
His remains have been transferred to the mortuary at Waterford University Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
The driver of the car, a man in his 50s, was transported to Cork University Hospital for assessment.
It's the second death on the roads this weekend, after a man driving a ride-on lawnmower was killed in a crash on the N76 at Kilcash Cross in County Tipperary on Friday.
