Two motorcyclists have died in separate crashes in Dublin and Offaly.
The two motorbike crashes happened within half an hour of each other yesterday evening.
In the first incident, a man in his 40s died in a single-vehicle crash on the R457 at Mulaghtour in Belmont, County Offaly.
It happened at around 6:45pm and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
In the second incident, a motorcyclist died following a single-car collision on the Junction 1 Southbound of the M1/M50 slip road in Dublin at approximately 7pm.
The man, aged in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was moved to Beaumont Hospital, for post-mortem.
The road is now open following a technical examination.
Gardaí are appealing to road users who may have camera footage and who were travelling in the area at the time to make this footage available to them.
