A motorcyclist has died following a crash in west Dublin yesterday evening.
It happened on the Old Navan Road at the entrance to The Saddlers Estate, Mulhuddart at around 7:30pm.
The crash involved a motorbike and a car.
The 45-year-old motorcyclist was seriously injured and taken to Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown, where he later died.
A post mortem is due to take place.
A forensic examination has been carried out at the scene, and the road has since reopened.
