A motorcyclist has been killed in a road crash in Co Kerry.

The man, who was in his 30s, died when his bike crashed into a lorry near Abbeydorney Village, north of Tralee, at around 10 o'clock this morning.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the lorry was uninjured.

The road is closed pending a technical examination and diversions are in place.
